Iraq: Conflict Resolution Article
2007: The Association of the United Stated Army has published Dr.
Meyjes’ article entitled Plan “C” is for
Culture: Out of Iraq – Opportunity in the prestigious
Landpower Essay series. Making the case in the context of on-going
ethnoreligious tensions such as in Iraq, the article argues
for an expansion of the concept of democracy to include not
only the rights of central governments and individuals but
those of minority cultural groups as well, as a key to resolving
many of the world’s country-internal conflicts.

Solidaris is in the process of recruiting moderate Islamic
clerics to provide Muslim Imam services to inmates in US
Federal correctional facilities - including leading the Jumah
Prayer and spiritual guidance to the inmates in accordance
with general Islamic practice.
