Iraq: Conflict Resolution Article

2007: The Association of the United Stated Army has published Dr. Meyjes’ article entitled Plan “C” is for Culture: Out of Iraq – Opportunity in the prestigious Landpower Essay series. Making the case in the context of on-going ethnoreligious tensions such as in Iraq, the article argues for an expansion of the concept of democracy to include not only the rights of central governments and individuals but those of minority cultural groups as well, as a key to resolving many of the world’s country-internal conflicts.
